Beatitudes Op. 47

Commissioned by the Rev. Dr P. C. Moore for the choir of Pershore Abbey and first performed at the Festival there in 1964, this anthem is a simple treatment of the text for soprano or tenor soloists. It appeared as a Musical Times supplement in 1964.
