In this version of Bridge Over Troubled Water, Kirby Shaw has appended an unaccompanied gospel intro and coda and arranged the work for Chorus SSA with Piano accompaniment.Paul Simon’s Bridge Over Troubled Water, recorded with partner Art Garfunkel, was a number one hit in the US charts and internationally in 1969 when it was first released. The song has become a standard in folk, lounge and gospel versions in the decades since then.
