Emilio Pujol was a notable Spanish classical guitarist, composer and musicologist. He was a pupil of Francisco Tarrega, the foremost theorist of the classical guitar.
Based on the technical principles of Tarrega, this work was 'the result of numerous music courses taught in Spain, France, Italy, England, and Portugal' as the author himself refers. The fourth volume of 'Escuela Razonada de la Guitarra' is a bilingual edition in Spanish and French with a written foreword by Manuel de Falla.
