This series of five graded albums has originated on the basis of a need for a wide range of study material that would comply with all requirements of modern Piano teaching. The material is designed also to help master problems in technique and expression.
Book 5 rounds off this series of studies, which is primarily intended for students. Triads, arpeggios and octaves now extend the range of technical problems to be practised. Early music pieces have been selected and appear between the first and second parts of the album. They should provide for a thorough practice of polyphonic music.
