A fabulous composition by Austrian composer and innovator of the romantic art songs (or lieder), Franz Schubert. Fantaisie In F Minor isn’t the most popular of Schubert’s works but is often regarded as one of his finest in terms of both character and style. It is passionate, melancholy and the simple, repeated tune carries a weight of sadness.
