First Harp Book

This book is intended not as a method, but as a compilation of carefully graded progressive pieces for use in teaching.

It includes 51 pieces for lever harp, most of them in the keys of 1 flat to 3 sharps: short European classical pieces, folk songs, and original tunes.

Fingerings, dynamics, playing techniques, time signatures, keys, exercises, and lever changes are introduced in a logical progression. A thorough approach to playing the harp!
