They are settings of five of the popular psalms in the bible, namely Psalm 23: The Lord Is My Shepherd - Psalm 107: O GiveThanks Unto The Lord - Psalm 120: When I Was In Trouble - Psalm 121: I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes Unto The Hills - Psalm 150: O Praise Ye The Lord.

Christopher Le Fleming (1908-1985) was an English composer,pianist, and teacher. He was born with a visual impairment that prevented him from taking a place at the Royal Academy of Music, instead studying at the Brighton School of Music and the Royal School of Church Music.
