Elementary piano lessons focus first on a five-note range, before any finger crossing is introduced. This book of tunes Gib mir 5 (Give me 5) contains 35 easy and progressively arranged original piano pieces in various five-note ranges and keys. The pieces have a broad range of styles, including minuets, folk tunes, sentimental instrumental pieces, pop and rock ballads and pieces in a boogie-woogie style.
