Irish National Anthem

The Irish National Anthem was composed in 1907 by Peadar Kearney and Patrick Heeney and adopted by the Irish Free State in 1926. The song has a rich history as a military marching song, and played a role in events such as the Easter Rising and the Irish War of Independence.
