Cantata for Easter Tuesday (third version).

Cantata  BWV 134 belongs to those works in which we can follow particularly  clearly Bach's custom of continually altering and improving his works  from performance to performance.

Although this cantata in the  course of its history became a valuable, even a particularly festal  church cantata, it does not disown its secular origin.  The complete  absence of blblical words and chorale is striking.
