The authors Elisabeth Lamarque and Marie-José Goudard wanted to combine the use of different pedagogical methods to create one all-encompassingapproach. The book consists of two parts, the first is organised into 18 chapters which are spread over the three different school terms, which can be modified at the discretion of the teacher. This section contains notes in thetreble and bass clefs, rhythms and rests, vocal work, ear training and other fundamental theory. The second part consists of three different coloured pages, denoting key reading, rhythm and consolidation of song and eartraining.
