Los Colores de Fiesta was commissioned by the Pride of San Antonio Show Band to celebrate the year-long 300th Anniversary Fiesta of the city in 2018. As a former member of the South San Antonio and John Jay High School Bands, andlater with the 5th Army Band, composer Charles Booker marched in the Fiesta Flambeau Parade, America's largest illuminated night parade and the highlight of Fiesta. This rhapsodic work celebrates the exciting atmosphere of Fiesta,as well as the rich and diverse cultures it represents.
