This song is taken from the television advent calender "Jul i Blåfjell" ("Christmas in the Blue Mountains") produced by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in 1999. It was a huge success which later led to theatrical productions and a successor "Jul på Månetoppen" (2002). Mamsen and Lillegutt (two of the characters in the series) are the two garbage handlers in the village of which the action takes place.
