Originally composed and recorded in 1947 for the soundtrack of the film Green Dolphin Street by the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, it became a standard after Miles Davis recorded it in 1958. The lyric and original introduction have largely been forgotten over the years, however both are featured prominently in this brand new arrangement from Scott Kitzmiller.
