Descrição
The passacaglia is a 17th century dance form in which an ostinato bass line is presented, followed by a series of continuos melodic and harmonic variations in the upper voices. In performing this Passacaglia by András Somos, the rhythmic, dancing nature is at the very heart of the composition. It was premiered in May 2004 by the Csepel Flute Quartet at the Buda Castle Lutheran Church in Budapest, Hungary.Detalhes
