Salute To Scarlatti is a suite of 4 short one-movement works in homage to the great Italian composer Domenico Scarlatti (1685 – 1757), who famously wrote 555 Keyboard sonatas. The four movements, Allegretto Deciso - Andante Amabile - Allegro Moderato E Grazioso - Allegro Scherzando, attempt to showcase the wide range of styles that Scarlatti developed, including a lyrical pastorale melody, a strong contrapuntal intermezzo, and a grand bravura finale.
