Solfége des Solféges - Book III

The last of the three Solfege Des Solfeges books, this is an excellent set of exercises tailored towards the Solfege method of sight-singing, and remains a popular method for teaching aural musicianship to beginner singers. First published in 1891, this edition has been translated into English by J.H. Cornell.

Adolphe-Leopold Danhauser (1835-1896) was a French musician, composer, and pedagogue. His name was often Germanised to Dannhäuser. Having been appointed as Professor of Solfeggio at the Paris Conservatory he is best known for his pedagogical works, such as the 1878 text book Théorie de la Musique, but also composedseveral operas and other choral pieces.
