Sonate C-Dur Hob. XVI Nr. 43

Haydn did not write many compositions for the Flute, in fact, out of his 469 works, only 6 were composed for the Flute. This piece is based on the Piano Sonata in A and was transposed by Doris Geller into the key of C in order to take full advantage of the Flute's compass. Scored for Flute with Piano accompaniment.
