Sonatine

Sonatina by Jacques Castérède is a piece for C Tuba or Bb Saxhorn and Piano. This work is quite romantic but it can be difficult and technical to execute. It would be recommended for advanced players.

Composed in three distinct parts, this Sonatina lasts between 7’15 and 7’30. These three sections are:
- Défilé
- Sérénade
- Final

Jacques Castérède (1926-2014) is a renowned composer and pianist. He has won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1953 and has composed numerous melodic pieces including ballets, concertos,symphonies, ensemble and chamber music.
