Rupert Horst has always liked drawing, as well as playing his trombone. In 2003 these two passions joined together for the first time. He is a teacher and avid performer, playing for fun in brass and jazz bands, and professionally in many other ensembles and orchestras. "During countless rehearsals and performances, as well as in long conversations with brass players, you tend to notice the individual idiosyncracies of these fellows" he says.
