Steve’s experience playing Guitar with the Rippingtons and many other funk groups In the NY area has enabled him to craft this “Medium Bouncy Funk” groove with great lines and really funky rhythm section writing. A nice call and response in the horns keeps this composition driving forward and fun to play. Solo is written for the Tenor Sax with room for the Guitar to shine as well. Impressive!
