The White Rose was commissioned by the White Rose Concert Band from Harrogate, England. The band takes its name from the county symbol of Yorkshire, the white rose. This partly rhythmic, party lyrical piece opens with a flourish from the trumpets. Following a rhythmic melody in the clarinets there are solo passages for flute and trumpet leading to the finale which brings together elements of the whole piece. Mais de Banda de Concerto
