Two Pieces, for Alto Saxophone and Piano

Russian composer, Edison Denisov (1929-1996) was a controversial composer of the nonconformist division of Soviet music. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory and his compositions remain popular to this day, Deux Pièces for Alto Saxophone and Piano being no exception.

Published in 1978, a typical performance of Denisov's Deux Pièces lasts about 5 minutes.
