When I Grow Up

When I Grow Up comes from Matilda he Musical, the award-winning stage version of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel from the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The song is a wish list of the kind of pleasures adulthood is imagined to bring. Of course it is a poignant list because in this case all it contains is freedom from the trials of childhood.

This choral version for SATB and piano accompaniment is arranged by Simon Foxley.
